HOW TO TUBE FEED A PUPPY

Hey everyone so this information is very basic and to the point.
You need a 35 ml syringe (Size is optional whats not optional is the tip needs to extend outwards not be the screw on type), and a soft rubber feeding tube.  This is all a feeding tube kit is. You will also need puppy milk replacer that contains goats or lamb milk, like ESBILAC or something similar.
You can order your kit here TUBE FEEDING KIT

HOW TO TUBE FEED A PUPPY

Step #1 Measure the length of the tube along the body of the puppy. (Meaning the tube length should be 3/4 the length of the puppy.) Mark this length on the tube so you know how much tube you need to put into puppy to reach stomach.
Step #2 Mix Formula in accordance to puppy size. (Remember don’t overdue the milk, this can cause bloating and constipation which we don’t want)
Step #3 Draw milk and leave tip of Tube covered in milk so puppy will lick tube while inserting it into the mouth. (This opens up path to stomach)
Step #4 Insert tube in mouth, let the puppy lick and then slide to back of throat and into the stomach.
Step #5 Once Feeding Tube is inserted in stomach, pump the milk into stomach and remove tube.
That Is it guys, its all over and should have taken you less then 3 minutes. This is so much easier and can be used to Tube Feed Antibiotics, Dewormer, and really anything you need to get into the stomach fast.
NOTE: IF YOU SEE MILK COME OUT THE NOSE, USE A BULB AND REMOVE IMMEDIATELY, THIS IS RARE BUT POSSIBLE IF YOU OVER FEED.
